How Does Change Happen Through Your Project?

Citizen science initiatives contribute to change in many different ways. Some influence public policy directly, while others shape awareness, strengthen trust, build community capacity, or contribute to scientific agendas.

Reflect on the following questions:

• What type of influence does your project currently seek?

• Which forms of influence are already happening, even if informally?

• Which actors are most important to reaching wider impact?

• What kinds of changes realistically fit your project’s purpose and resources?
