I have collaborated with students, colleagues, friends and strangers over the course of the past years. The collaborations have brought greater understanding and experience and have mostly been hugely enriching both personally and professionally. However, sometimes when i have seen opportunities to further my objectives (open educational practice and greater autonomous professional development) I have not been afraid to go it alone and then share my thoughts for input from others. If i had waited for others to agree or to have time to help it would have been time lost doing - sometimes I have prioritised the doing in order to get momentum. 

In 2016 I shared this curation of professional development opportunities for language educators in HE. I shared it through a Global Education online event and of course on twitter. Looking back it probably needs updating now but most if not all the networks shared here are still active. Sharing resources you have made alone often helps to surface new potential collaborators and new connections emerge.
