Hello everyone, my name is Fatma. I’m a neurologist. I joined the “Multi-disciplinary Working – Making it Effective for Motor Neurone Disease” course to strengthen my understanding of how coordinated team-based care can improve outcomes and quality of life for patients with motor neurone disease.

I’m particularly interested in how neurologists can collaborate effectively with respiratory therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, palliative care teams, and psychologists to provide comprehensive care. I’m looking forward to learning practical strategies that I can apply in my clinical setting and to exchanging experiences with colleagues from different backgrounds.
