Introduction

Hi

My name is Sean and I am the MND Coordinator for the Sheffield MND Care Centre. I have worked as a home enteral nutrition dietitian for most of my career supporting people, including those living with MND, on home enteral nutrition usually via a gastrostomy feeding tube. I have recently completed my PhD which focused on how people with MND are supported to make decisions about gastrostomy placement by the multidisciplinary team, which became a study of MDT care as much as it was about supporting decision making. I am interested in learning more about what makes an effective, coordinated MDT, especially now that this is one of my core job roles.
