Summary

Taking photographs of the child’s focus of interest involves a lot of small decisions and possible challenges. It is easy to step back from taking these as a result of concerns about the technology and the child’s response to it, but these will not be insurmountable. By being open to experimentation, responding to the situation and reflecting upon one’s own assumptions this second perspective can be a very simple and immediate means of gaining a new insight into the child’s interests. This insight can be invaluable whatever the child's age, learning difficulty or way of communicating.

Now that you have worked your way through Section 3 you should review your learning by completing Quiz 3.After finishing the quiz and checking your answers you will be ready  to move onto Section 4 'Sharing the photographs'.
