Learning at Work with OpenLearn

Updated Monday, 12 May 2025

Welcome to your exclusive Learning at Work Week collection, thank you for joining us! OpenLearn, the free learning platform of The Open University, is delighted to once again be an official partner of Learning at Work Week (18-24 May 2026).

As an official partner, we’re committed to supporting you and your business to help deliver learning during this week, and hopefully beyond. Across our site you will find over 900 free courses, as well as topical articles, videos and podcasts covering a diverse range of subjects, which makes it the perfect resource to support any Learning at Work Week plans, work-based or otherwise!

Having signed up and received your exclusive link to our LAWW collection, you’ll already be able to see what’s on offer, but you can of course visit OpenLearn directly and explore the site for yourself. What you’ll find here is our key ‘intrapreneurship’ webinar series – in the video carousel below –  a selection of courses and content related to some key topics around that, and some exclusive articles that won’t be available anywhere else, other than right here, which we’ll update you on as they appear.

Exclusive LAWW content

This is where you'll find all your exclusive Learning at Work Week content from OpenLearn and The Open University. And while we’re working on bringing you this year's resources, here’s some we produced for last year that will help any business and its employees:

And as you can find elsewhere on The OU website, here are some fantastic case studies from which intrapreneurs can learn about skills and mindset from a series of business founders:

And not forgetting The Open University's free Skills Starter Tool, an interactive resource designed to help employers kickstart meaningful conversations around their organisation’s skills challenges, crated in partnership with TrainingZone.

Many ways to learn

The theme of Learning at Work Week 2026 is ‘many ways to learn’, which is great for us. As well as our online courses and content, we have a jam-packed YouTube channel, for those who prefer to learn by watching; and a new Spotify channel for those who like to listen and absorb their information.

In the carousel below you’ll find our intrapreneurship series of webinars, as well as an insight into how we work with employers. Coming soon will be a podcast episode which lifts the lid on free learning.

You might also want to discover the benefits of enrolling on our free courses; and how our badged courses now offer 24 hours of continuing professional development (CPD) extra value to your business and your employees.

Your resources for 2026

We’ve picked 6 key themes for 2026 to help you get started with what we have to offer, but it’s just a fraction of what we have available. All our courses provide a statement of participation when completed, and a growing number include a digital badge and are CPDSO approved – giving those 24 hours of CPD as already mentioned.
