2.2 Coding sheet for diagnostic assessment

The coding sheet was put together for the following reasons:

  • Minimise the amount that needed to be written during the assessment 
  • Create a consistent 'language' so that when assessments are passed on, a new teacher can make more sense of the previous teacher's annotations and comments.
  • To more easily see 'at a glance' strategies used and errors made etc.
