6.2 Updating Your Assessment Folder
For schools completing this as part of whole school training. You may wish to use Section 6.1, 6.2 and 6.3 as a 'Gap Task' before the next training session. This will allow staff time to process the information, become more familiar with the assessments and have tried some out themselves.

If you haven't already, it can be useful to have a pre-prepared assessment folder with the following documents organised into sections:
From Part 1:
- Counting and part-whole strategies: Stages of Thinking
- Coding sheet for diagnostic assessment
- Guidance Document: Addition and Subtraction
- Response and Level Guidance: Addition and Subtraction
- Addition and Subtraction Assessment
- Blank master copy
- Several blank copies to write on so they are easily accessible when you are assessing pupils.
- Problem Cards: Addition and Subtraction
- Blank master copy (in case you lose any of your cut and laminated ones)
- Cut and laminated versions of the problem cards.
From Part 2:
- Guidance Document: Knowledge Assessments
- Each of the knowledge assessments below including a:
- Blank master copy
- Several blank copies to write on so they are easily accessible when you are assessing pupils.
- Problem Cards for each of the assessments that require them (see below) including:
