OER can be found in many different places. In this activity you'll explore just a few of those places.
Spend around 20 minutes browsing some of the OER collections listed below. Store the link for any resources you think could be useful to you in the future.
- Open Research Online (ORO): The Open Access repository of research outputs from The Open University's research community.
- OAsis: The Commonwealth of Learning's online institutional repository for learning resources and publications.
- The Met Collection: Over 375,000 images of artworks from The Met collection to use, share, and remix—without restriction.
- OAPEN: An online library of open access books.
- MERLOT: Over 100,300 curated online learning and support materials and content creation tools, led by an international community of educators, learners and researchers.
