Activity: Barriers to realising the potential of OER

1. Watch the video, in which Dr Leigh-Anne Perryman, Associate Director (Curriculum) at The Open University in the UK talks about some of the barriers to realising the potential of OER, drawing on her own research and studies from projects such as ROER4D (which has now ended).  
2. Think about whether there are any additional barriers to realising the potential of OER in your own work, study or personal contexts. How could they be addressed? What support would you need? Make some notes about this. You could find them useful to share with colleagues or other people that you know.
