Supporting migrants to write to their elected representatives 

Take 10-15 minutes for the following activity: 

1. Do an online search for a sample letter to your elected representative to get a sense of how to write a letter and what information it should contain. 
2. Create a template letter that could be used by your migrant clients in the future. 
3. Consider what sort of issues are raised by your clients and whether writing to their elected representatives is the most appropriate action for their circumstances. 
4. (Optional) Support clients to write to their elected representative about a problem that affects them.
