First generation migrant leader in local government

Marta Portalska is a migrant from Poland who has won The Officer of the Year award at Brent Council in London. She started her career in Local Government as a graduate and progressed to the role of Change & Improvement Project Manager where she also had responsibilities for community engagement and consultations.
