OpenLearn Champions is an advocacy programme from The Open University in Wales that helps break down barriers to learning and widen access to higher education and higher-level skills. OpenLearn Champions are trained to help spread the word about OpenLearn in their workplaces and communities, to inspire a love of learning and support adults across Wales to develop skills, raise their confidence and explore what OpenLearn has to offer.

On OpenLearn you can find a range of free courses aimed at improving employability skills, essential skills in maths and English, health and wellbeing, as well as academic subjects like science, technology, history, and much more.
Below you will find a selection of recommended free online courses and other learning resources. You will get the most from OpenLearn if you create an account (this is also free). Creating an account will give you full access to a range of features that are not available to guests, such as enrolling on free courses. From your MyOpenLearn profile, you will be able to track your progress and download an activity record.
Many courses offer learners the chance to gain a digital badge on completion of the course, which can be shared as evidence of achievement.
