    GENERAL TEACHING METHODS

Ref: 4.1 Under Introduction to Assessment and Evaluation, I find " assessment for learning" which is implied in Formative Assessment being handled indepently. Why? But "Assessment of learning" implied in Summative Assessment is not independently anywhere . Since Formative Vs Summative assessments are inclusive of these other terms, I recommed that this topicl issue be rephrased as "Formative Assessment (Assessment for Learning) Vs Summative Assessment (Assessment of Learning)" Alternatively the synonymous terms in brackets be used to define/explain those traditional terms.

Additionally, is diagnostic assessment (Assessment as Learning) not relevant in this Module? Why not include it? This is food for thought.

Ref: 5.3 Under Choosing Instructional Material IM): For logical flow I propose that the subtopic " Factors to consider when... " should appear first and also be rephrased to read as "Factors to consider when identiying and selecting instructional materials" becaused selection is done from what has been identified. Then the subtopic " Integration of IM, follows.
