Introduction



This second topic provides you with a general introduction to the essentials of Active Teaching and Learning. As a start, you will be challenged to reflect on what Active Teaching and Learning is, followed by an introduction to its foundation and rationale. You will also be guided to identify the challenges of applying Active Teaching and Learning in the right perspective. Last, this topic provides you with a variety of hands-on Active Teaching and Learning instructional methods, techniques and tools and how to integrate them during the teaching and learning process.
