Welcome to the Tree Value Visions training course!

Tree Value Visions is a participatory visioning tool for integrating social values in planning and management of urban treescapes. It is designed to support local decision-making on tree management and planting. The tool generates evidence and insight about how trees are valued in a locality, focusing on their current and potential social and cultural values.

In this free course, we present the tool and provide training on how to use it. The course is designed to be studied independently (without a tutor), and so includes optional interactive quizzes through which the learner can check their understanding. It is suitable for local authority officers, urban green space managers, members of community groups, community councillors, and others with an interest in urban treescapes.

Completing the course will unlock a 'Statement of Participation'; a certificate which can be used as evidence of study for Continuing Professional Development, or other uses.
