Follow up, feedback form, and thank you

The final section is largely dependent upon the organiser. The tool does not naturally generate an action plan for participants to take away and directly work upon. Some will have attended for an interesting evening's conversation (and a free meal). However, some may be motivated to carry out follow-on activities, and many will want to know how the time they have donated to the panel will be put to use. This is the time to let them know!

The form allows for participants to reflect upon and state their experience of the survey and panel. This presents an opportunity for them to disclose significant problems they experienced with the process, or personal differences with the consensus results. As such, the form is a further opportunity for the research team to be reassured about the reliability of the results. If the tool is being run multiple times, the feedback form can also be a useful source of feedback on potential changes.

A template feedback form can be found in the resource section.

  3. How can participants contribute further to this process? Will there be any further opportunities for participation?
  4. Who to contact for any questions after the workshops?

  • It is recommended to hand out a feedback form (template provided) and let participants complete it before leaving.
