  This collection of resources is drawn from the two year professional development programme that ICT, library and other support staff did alongside academic staff. Activities focus on developing skills around the development of educational resources for teaching and learning online as well as providing technical knowledge and support around open practices.
  
  TIDE project enriched distance learning in Myanmar by building the capacity of Higher Education staff and students, enhancing programmes of study, and strengthening systems that support Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) in Myanmar. TIDE was part of the UK-Aid-funded Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education Innovation and Reform (SPHEIR) programme (www.spheir.org.uk). SPHEIR is managed on behalf of FCDO by a consortium led by the British Council that includes PwC and Universities UK International. The TIDE project closed in May 2021.

Course learning outcomes
The TIDE ICT, library and support Staff 2-year programme learning outcomes are as follows:
- Understand the fundamental principles of learning design and how to support different types of learner appropriately.
- Be able to support the design and delivery of resources for effective distance learning.
- Support the development of open educational resources through their identification, evaluation, selection and appropriate reuse.
- Understand and use different open technologies to support both day and distance learners.
- Understand and use online learning platforms (e.g. OpenLearn Create).
