”Persons with disabilities include those who have long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments which in interaction with various barriers may hinder their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others.” –  United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).

"Disability means a physical, sensory, mental or other impairment, including any visual, hearing, learning or physical incapability, which impacts adversely on social, economic or environmental participation.” – Disability Act 2003.


Disability Inclusion – ensures the full participation of people with disabilities in all areas of life; works to address the barriers which hinder their access and participation.
