2.1.7 How GESI applies to the work of skill building institutions

Institutions should apply a GESI lens to ensure that they meet the inclusivity needs of the population. The application of proportionality principles to various population segments of society in sharing opportunities is vital to achieving inclusivity.

For example, in Kenya, youth, females and persons with disabilities constitute at least 29%, 50.3% and  2.2% of the total population respectively. This should be reflected in the various opportunities available.
