2.4.4. Core areas of a GESI assessment
The four core areas to consider when conducting an assessment in TVET/HE institutions are:
1) Access to programme courses;
2) Attendance, learning material and teaching pedagogy;
3) Tests and certification, and;
4) Transition to work.
In conducting assessment in the four areas, institutions should follow the minimum standards:

Measure programmes/services and organisations as employers;
Span multiple identity groups;

Involve self-assessment (internal) or a 3rd party expert (external), and;
Combine primary and secondary data collection approaches.
