There are many resources available both in Kenya and globally, that can support TVET/HE and employer's journey to adopting DEI. Some examples of expert organisations and digital resources are provided below.
Expert organisations include:
- The ILO Kenya Business and Disability Network, hosted by FKE, which supports the private sector in creating inclusive employment opportunities for women and men with disabilities. They offer services like accessibility assessments and bring together employers to share best practices.
- Gender at Work. This is an international organisation based in India that works with organisations to improve gender inclusion in the workplace. There are several good resources on their website and the organisation can be contracted for support.
Digital resources include:
- The ILO Global Business and Disability Network's resource page on disability employment.
- http://dei.extension.org, which has a large library of resources on DEI.
- The Leonard Cheshire and Federation of Kenyan Employers (i2i project) e-Learning modules available on the NCPWD Career Portal.
