All measures taken to prevent violence in schools need to be practical, dynamic, and easily embedded within the institutional programmes and processes. In this module, we will cover four key prevention strategies that institutions can adopt namely:

• Safeguarding policies & procedures;
• Safeguarding risk assessments;
• Safeguarding recruitment of personnel  (and partners), and;
• Safeguarding curriculum & learning environment design.
