2.2.6 TVET and HE Institutions as Employers
Whereas we’ve discussed GESI responsive programming, TVET and Higher Education Institutions are also employers with the responsibility to ensure their policies and infrastructure are inclusive and accessible.
Therefore, the organisation as an employer should mainstream gender and social inclusion throughout policies, infrastructure, HR/management practices, etc.
Thus, an inclusive TVET system consists of inclusive TVET/HE services and inclusive TVET employers. The figure below illustrates the components of an inclusive TVET system.
