3.3.9. Safeguarding Review & Learning
Some
of the strategies that can be used to design an inclusive review and learning include:
- Regular monitoring of the implementation of the women, persons with disabilities and low-income youth safeguarding policies and procedures;
- Reporting on progress, performance, and lessons learnt to key stakeholders;
- Learning from practical case experience to inform policy review and changes to the women, persons with disabilities and low-income youth safeguarding measures;
- Regular review of policies and practices and external evaluations;
- Establish safeguarding learning networks across institutions, and;
- Seek safeguarding feedback to inform your learning and risk mitigation measures. This is also useful when determining safeguarding resource allocations.
