3.2.8.3.Making Safeguarding Personal: Institutional Partner’s Responsibilities
Strategic partnerships are increasingly becoming the better vehicle for the sustainable delivery of services by leveraging the unique skills and strengths of individual partners for mutual benefit. Learning institutions have not been left behind in this arena and are signing new partnerships to support research, implementation of strategic programs, and provision of essential services.
Partners onboarded have the following safeguarding responsibilities:
- To adhere to your contractual obligations;
- To complete safeguarding risk assessment and action plan;
- To have the commitment to the board for achieving good safeguarding practice;
- To complete monthly and quarterly safeguarding monitoring forms;
- To report all safeguarding incidents within 24 hours;
- To respond to safeguarding incidents appropriately and keep management informed, and;
- To be responsible for safeguarding good practices for your downstream partners.
